Key Responsibilities

•Lead definition and execution of cloud security strategy (zero trust, network segmentation, least privilege, defense‑in‑depth) across GCP and AWS.
•Oversee and implement preventive/detective controls (WAF, DDoS mitigation, IDS/IPS, SIEM, vulnerability management).
•Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines (shift‑left): secret scanning, image scanning, dependency analysis.
•Coordinate incident response, threat modeling, and external pentesting to strengthen security posture.
•Design and maintain cloud infrastructure (GCP: GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, IAM; AWS: ECS/Fargate, EKS, RDS, SQS, VPC, IAM) and lead IaC with Terraform; drive observability and reliability (SLOs/SRE).

Key Requirements

•6+ years in DevOps/SRE/Cloud, with at least 2 years in technical leadership
•GCP and AWS in production environments; Kubernetes at mid-senior level; Terraform; CI/CD across multiple languages; Bash and Python
•Indispensable security expertise: cloud security strategy (IAM, hardening, zero trust, WAF, IDS/IPS); vulnerability management; SIEM; IR playbooks; familiarity with OWASP Top 10, CIS Benchmarks, NIST CSF, and at least one of SOC 2 / ISO 27001 / LGPD
•Excellent communication to executive leadership and ability to translate complex technical concepts into business impact
•Desirable certifications (e.g., GCP Security Engineer, AWS Security Specialty, CISSP/CISM) and experience with CSPM, Falco or DataDog; multilingual is a plus
