Job Summary

Lead transportation roadway projects end-to-end, from conceptual and preliminary engineering through final design. Provide guidance to PMs and managers on alternative delivery infrastructure projects (P3, DB, CM/GC), ensuring specifications, reports, and analyses meet scope, schedule, cost, quality, and industry standards. Coordinate across disciplines (planning, environmental, roadway, structures, hydraulics/drainage, traffic), manage budgets and profitability, mentor staff, and support client and contractor relationships.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure specifications, reports, and analyses meet scope, schedule, cost, and quality requirements.
•Coordinate with other design disciplines and remote office locations, including planning, environmental, roadway, structures, hydraulics/drainage, and traffic.
•Collaborate with management on long-range plans and objectives, including project staffing recommendations and mentoring subordinate staff.
•Plan, schedule, and coordinate staffing levels needed for projects.
•Manage projects and maintain schedule, budget, and profitability; oversee preparation of plans, specifications, proposals, and RFC packages.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
•12+ years of relevant post-education experience in engineering, civil, and infrastructure design.
•Engineer license required (multi-state preferred).
•Advanced proficiency in civil engineering principles and infrastructure design, including design/build and permitting-related work.
•Ability to work independently while providing guidance and leadership to mid-level to senior team members with strict adherence to QA/QC.
