Key Responsibilities

  • •Work closely with program management, Integrated Product Teams, engineering, quality, production control, and procurement to ensure supplier management and successful program deliveries.
  • •Develop and execute material strategies supporting customer requirements and meeting program objectives.
  • •Generate and process supplier RFPs/RFQs and obtain, understand, and process supplier proposals/quotes and related flow-downs and modifications.
  • •Drive purchase requisition and purchase order generation/placement, including purchase order closeouts and managing supplier new add/reactivation requests.
  • •Prepare gate review support and support material program plans, including line of balance (LOB) execution, make/buy decisions, affordability efforts, and mitigation plans for milestone impacts.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and at least 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 5 years experience.
  • •Experience with MRP/ERP systems (special program access or equivalent manufacturing programs).
  • •U.S. citizenship required with ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
  • •Experience supporting Prime Contract requirements and Statements of Work (SOW).
  • •Experience working in a cross-functional Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment.
