Key Responsibilities

  • •Check delivery routes for the day and plan the van load accordingly.
  • •Load and prepare the van for deliveries, ensuring all orders are together and can be delivered efficiently.
  • •Complete vehicle safety checks and maintain full road compliance, health and safety.
  • •Be a Waitrose brand ambassador on the road, providing excellent customer service and helping customers with their shopping.
  • •Support the wider shop team with general shopkeeping tasks when not on deliveries.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 14.31 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Full valid B-Category UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 points.
  • •Great customer service skills.
  • •Strong time management skills.
  • •Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including lifting crates and moving cages.
  • •Comfortable working independently with self-motivation and adaptability, and IT literacy.
