Key Responsibilities

  • •Define security models, requirements, and guardrails for emerging application architectures where established patterns are incomplete.
  • •Design, implement, and validate security controls that reduce risk in emerging architectures and high-risk system behaviors.
  • •Support authentication, authorization, workload isolation, and data access using least-privilege principles across evolving trust boundaries.
  • •Partner with product, platform, and infrastructure security teams to identify gaps and embed secure-by-default requirements from early design through production.
  • •Lead threat modeling and security assessments and drive remediation of emerging security risks using practical continuous security testing where it provides durable coverage.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of software engineering or development experience in a collaborative environment, with Go, Rust, or Python experience preferred.
  • •Experience in security and/or infrastructure/platform engineering, including exposure to distributed systems, application platforms, or agent-based architectures.
  • •Designed or implemented application-infrastructure security controls such as authentication, authorization, API security, zero-trust networking, workload protection, sandboxing, or runtime hardening.
  • •Understanding of application security vulnerabilities and mitigations, including for LLM applications and agentic systems; familiarity with LLM frameworks and protocols such as MCP or A2A is a plus.
  • •Ability to solve problems independently and collaboratively in ambiguous, rapidly evolving environments while driving security initiatives with engineering and leadership stakeholders.
