Key Responsibilities

  • •Support and sustain the VLF Mission System transmitter and associated equipment.
  • •Assist with complex fault rectification, electrical design, and sustainment activities to maintain operational performance and governance.
  • •Conduct technical investigations across bespoke equipment to develop solutions within cost, schedule, and quality constraints.
  • •Liaise with the Engineering Manager on project issues and engineering change processes.
  • •Participate in technical reviews and program planning, including risk assessing electrical engineering hazards and proposing rectification solutions.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with professional engineering experience in electrical systems.
  • •Ability to identify and resolve defects across a diverse range of electrical systems.
  • •Willingness to become and maintain a Chartered Professional Engineering status via Engineers Australia.
  • •Familiarity with Australian Standard (AS) electrical standards and preferably WA legislation.
  • •Successful candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a NV1 Security clearance as needed.
