Key Responsibilities

  • •Support BU growth through development of new or modified differentiated products, applications, technologies, or processes to meet market and customer objectives.
  • •Manage collaboration on development and/or importation of global technologies (formulations, performance, processing) to enable commercialization and domestic sales.
  • •Drive next-generation material innovation via idea scouting, proof-of-concept, and implementation to market.
  • •Design and manage product development projects with internal and external customers; deliver technical application outcomes and support resolution of customer complaints.
  • •Develop and manage product formulation and quality specification control plans, advise production methods, support scale-up at manufacturing sites, and consult on product/process issues.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree in polymer and material science (PhD a plus).
  • •3–8 years of plastics industry experience is preferred (outstanding Master/PhD graduates welcome).
  • •Expertise in PPC and EP formulation is a plus.
  • •Strong polymer processing and testing knowledge is a plus.
  • •Experience relevant to automotive, appliance, packaging, or related industrial fields is a plus.
