Key Responsibilities

  • •Generate and manage construction cost estimates, budgets, and valuation of engineering work across all project scopes, systems, and assemblies.
  • •Develop schematic cost model estimates using historic benchmarking and industry experience; prepare sound data for profitable tendering.
  • •Review tender documentation to identify ambiguities, risks, and key issues; reconcile variances between estimates and explain cost drivers.
  • •Support estimation and bidding workflows, including quantity take-offs (manual and digitally), contractor bid reviews, and responses to tendering inquiries.
  • •Coordinate with the client on scope changes and conduct site inspections for tender understanding and risk assessment; train and coach the estimating team.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 8 years of working experience, including 5 years of relevant experience (2 years GCC experience is a plus).
  • •Proven cost estimating capability for construction work, including preparation of detailed cost estimate forecasting.
  • •Strong ability to review tender documentation and analyze drawing/specification packages to produce comprehensive estimates.
  • •Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint, plus AutoCAD and QS-related software; CCS (Candy) experience is a distinct advantage.
  • •ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills, along with a solid understanding of construction systems and compliance with the company code of ethics.
