Job Summary

Lead technical programs that deliver software and features for POS and peripheral hardware across HP’s Retail and Industrial Solutions. Partner as the primary technical point of contact with peripheral vendors and customers—setting specs, defining test plans, resolving issues, and communicating progress and escalations. Own schedules, deliverables, budgets, and resource plans, and drive compliance, documentation control, and integration of new technologies and quality initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage and lead multi-function programs to drive engineering development and implementation for product/service offerings.
•Oversee logistics for parts used in builds and prototypes while coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
•Develop and direct program schedules, critical deliverables, budget, and resource allocation; adjust plans based on analysis.
•Ensure procedural compliance, maintenance, and safety practices for new and existing equipment.
•Serve as the primary technical point of contact with peripheral vendors and customers; set specs, define test plans, solve problems, and communicate progress and escalations.

Salary: USD 116,150 - 182,400 annually

Key Requirements

•Four-year or graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields, or commensurate work experience.
•Typically 7-10 years of work experience in engineering development and implementation and project planning.
•People management experience and ability to lead and mentor less-experienced staff.
•Experience driving project engineering and new product development across schedules, deliverables, and resources.
•Knowledge of risk management and continuous improvement processes in engineering/manufacturing delivery.
