Key Responsibilities

  • •Install, adjust, and repair production equipment, heavy trucks, and special purpose machines as assigned.
  • •Operate hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, cut, change parts, and complete assigned tasks.
  • •Test and troubleshoot malfunctioning machinery to determine repairs and coordinate with fellow mechanics for approval.
  • •Replace faulty parts including electrical wires, motors, controls, and circuit boards as needed.
  • •Dismantle equipment to remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, and tools; also perform general repairs to plant structures.
