Job Summary

Serve as a Retail Personal Banker I through a structured 4–8 week onboarding program with rotations across operations and Sales & Service. Use a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles, recommend retail and small business solutions, and drive cross-selling. Proactively reach customers using approved marketing tools, meet production and customer experience goals, and support referrals with Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial, and Investment partners while following risk and ethics policies.

Key Responsibilities

•Complete onboarding rotations in operations and Sales & Service, with certification at program conclusion to perform Retail Personal Banker I duties.
•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Maintain in-depth knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend solutions using the company value proposition.
•Use CAMP and approved marketing tools to proactively reach out, set appointments for periodic financial reviews, and support appointment activity.
•Cross-sell to existing customers and engage in outside sales activities while meeting/exceeding customer experience and production goals; process teller transactions as part of platform staff.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Experience in the financial industry is preferred.
•Demonstrated ability to develop comfort level with sales activities to acquire new consumer households and small business customers and cross-sell to existing customers.
•Must demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions to analyze credit and financial information.
•This position requires S.A.F.E. Act registration through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) at the time of employment.
