Job Summary

Lead a team of 15–20 engineers delivering AI/ML analysis for airborne kill chain programs. Own trade studies, R&D, and implementation of machine learning and neural-network approaches, along with model-based solutions supporting mission trade studies and performance simulations. Oversee performance engineering and software-in-the-loop testing support, coordinate cross-functionally with customers and technical SMEs, and manage section line responsibilities including career development and talent acquisition.

•Oversee trade studies, R&D, and implementation of machine learning-based solutions for warfighter capability needs.
•Research and apply advanced neural network techniques to address real-world warfighter challenges.
•Develop and implement model-based solutions supporting mission trade studies and performance simulations that meet defined requirements.
•Lead performance engineering practices to evaluate computational problems and ensure work meets expectations.
•Oversee direct line management for the section, including communication, performance management, career development, and talent acquisition.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a STEM degree and at least 8 years of relevant experience.
•Experience in airborne kill chain analysis or air-to-air effector engineering and analysis, including exposure to AI/ML or neural network analysis.
•Experience coordinating cross-industry collaborations, including subcontractors, customers, and warfighter stakeholders.
•Experience in the Defense industry.
•Active and transferable Top Secret U.S. government security clearance required prior to start; U.S. citizenship required.
