Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and lead a team responsible for most new T&S capital projects through conceptual design level ready for financial approval and handoff to execution.
  • •Ensure proposed T&S projects meet stakeholder and internal Investment Plan requirements with proper justification and supporting documentation.
  • •Serve as a lead contributor to TSRG, vetting and approving new projects prior to execution, and potentially chairing or acting as vice-chair.
  • •Provide technical, investment oversight and decision-making for T&S capital projects from inception through construction.
  • •Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and planning to identify and mitigate T&S system issues, and investigate intervention needs aligned to the long-term investment plan.

  • •7 years of practical experience across Transmission & Distribution (T&D) power systems, including planning, engineering, construction, or operations.
  • •Ability to lead and develop engineering teams performing needs-and-solutions assessments for Transmission & Substation (T&S) reliability and infrastructure deficiencies.
  • •Demonstrated ability to evaluate solution alternatives and justify T&S projects and resulting investment plans.
  • •Ability to prepare/oversee project documentation and deliver clear communications to internal executives and external regulators/ISOs.
