Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage Radiation Protection Shift activities, including access control for radiologically controlled areas and high radiation areas.
  • •Review and execute Radiation Work Permits and perform radiation surveys for personnel, equipment, and the environment.
  • •Provide radiation safety support by monitoring personal contamination and performing personal decontamination as required.
  • •Manage and use radiation protection equipment and instrumentation (e.g., dosimetry and portable radiation equipment) and verify monitoring system feedback.
  • •Support emergency radiation protection and coordinate care for injured workers in radiologically controlled areas before evacuation.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma.
  • •3 years of relevant experience, including 1 year of Nuclear Power Plant experience.
  • •Manage access to radiologically controlled, contaminated, and high radiation areas in line with radiation protection program standards.
  • •Review and execute Radiation Work Permits (RWPs) and conduct radiation surveys to support RWP analysis.
  • •Manage radiation protection equipment and instrumentation, including dosimetry and portable radiation equipment, to ensure safe operations.
