Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as Product Engineer for the network protector (NWP) and capacitor switch product families, guiding and approving design work.
  • •Support and lead cross-functional projects for capacitor unit design enhancements, manufacturability, cost-out initiatives, and design automation.
  • •Collaborate with R&D to implement NWP and capacitor switch design enhancements into the manufacturing environment.
  • •Perform engineering analyses (material specifications, effects of changes on standards, and testing of functional models) and prepare mechanical/electrical drawings from customer specifications.
  • •Provide engineering design support to Manufacturing and Supply Chain and provide technical support to product marketing for sales inquiries and customer problems.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
  • •Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • •Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.
  • •Relocation to within 50 miles of Greenwood, SC (or currently residing there) for consideration.
  • •Working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D & 3D and experience designing mechanical or electrical drawings in a manufacturing environment.
