Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete locks in Encompass and Optimal Blue, including lock extensions.
  • •Perform final price checks and re-price loans after initial locks using a historical pricing tool.
  • •Submit lock and lock modification requests to investors and secure lock confirmation/lock confirmations.
  • •Update loan and lock records and monitor alerts to ensure loan changes are within guidelines; report pricing exceptions for approval.
  • •Support internal departments with secondary marketing information, questions, and mortgage closing/servicing correspondence related to secondary mortgage programs.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of related experience.
  • •At least 5 years of related experience in secondary marketing/lock desk, pricing, and sales of mortgage loans into the secondary market.
  • •Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and the ability to use a LOS, Encompass, and Optimal Blue.
  • •Solid knowledge of rules/regulations and residential loan collateral documentation.
  • •Strong verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail, organization, and critical thinking.
