Support continuous improvement, observe animal welfare guidelines, assist coworkers as needed, and respond to incidents and safety risks while following safe work practices.

•Process product using tools (including knives), manual labor, and provided equipment according to USDA and company standards and procedures.
•Process product according to operating procedures and quality/quantity expectations; observe equipment and report malfunctions and safety issues.
•Clean and organize the work area.
•Follow company personnel, quality, safety, and food safety policies; maintain a positive, cooperative work atmosphere.
•Recognize and act on incidents and safety risks; participate in process improvement and problem solving; follow animal welfare guidelines and perform other duties as directed.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
•Ability to comprehend simple instructions and apply common sense.
•Ability to work in cool temperatures (around 40 degrees).
•Ability to stand and use hands for 8-11 hours per day, multitasking and working quickly.
•Food or production experience preferred.
