Job Summary

Shape and grow the Cyber & Tech PI portfolio in Belgium by leading underwriting strategy, technical risk selection, pricing discipline, and portfolio optimization. Partner closely with customers, brokers, and internal stakeholders (Claims, Actuarial, Portfolio Management) to drive profitable, sustainable growth. Bring deep cyber/tech exposure expertise, strong governance and underwriting judgment, and market relationships, while mentoring colleagues and collaborating with management on underwriting strategy.

Key Responsibilities

•Shape the future of the Cyber & Tech PI portfolio in Belgium and drive profitable, sustainable growth.
•Lead and execute the Cyber & Tech PI underwriting plan, including technical risk selection, pricing discipline, and portfolio optimization.
•Combine deep technical expertise with a trading mindset and strong customer/broker relationship focus.
•Manage complex risks with a clear mission and significant underwriting mandate.
•Act as a mentor to colleagues and work with management to develop and execute underwriting strategy.

Key Requirements

•Proven experience as a Cyber and/or Tech PI underwriter or broker with a strong market network and a track record of profitable growth.
•Deep understanding of Cyber and/or Tech PI exposures, controls, insurance wording, and current market trends.
•Strong technical underwriting expertise with a clear commitment to risk quality and good governance.
•Strong business and financial acumen to interpret financial information, understand P&L drivers, and support portfolio performance.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch (French proficiency is an advantage).
