Job Summary

Design, provision, and operate hosted infrastructure and services to ensure high availability, performance, and security for InterSystems customers across Latin America. Work with colocation partners, engineering and architecture teams, and stakeholders to implement server, network, storage, and monitoring solutions. Lead deployments, validate hardware platforms, apply ITIL-based operational processes, and drive automation for hosting changes, inventory, security scanning, and service-level reporting.

Key Responsibilities

•Work with colocation partners to design appropriate cage, rack, and server layouts to ensure continuous availability of space, energy, and cooling.
•Lead and/or participate in provisioning and deployment of hosting-related servers, networks, and equipment, including hands-on installation and configuration as needed.
•Administer and maintain hosted solutions and infrastructure (firewalls, switches, IBM Power Series, Dell PowerFlex, Dell PowerEdge, etc.), proactively identifying and resolving potential incidents, managing backups, and performing general maintenance.
•Implement and continuously improve ITIL-based operational processes (incident, change, problem, and configuration management) and define, monitor, and report service metrics.
•Drive hosting automation, including deploying approved changes, implementing new services, managing inventory, performing security scanning, and producing service-level reports.

Key Requirements

•Advanced English (minimum B2, ideally C1) to communicate professionally with teams in North America and Europe.
•Solid hands-on experience with hosting infrastructure and data centers.
•Experience implementing and administering SAN storage, ideally with IBM FlashSystem and Dell PowerStore.
•Practical experience with AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP); certifications are a plus.
•Hands-on experience with networks and firewalls (ideally Cisco), plus load balancers and DNS Global Load Balancing.
