Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage, coach, and grow a team of engineers across Cloudflare Radar, Speed Test, and Internet measurement, analytics, and large-scale data systems.
  • •Own team execution by establishing priorities, enabling predictable delivery, and giving engineers context and autonomy.
  • •Improve the quality, reliability, and usability of data and insights surfaced through Radar and the systems producing them.
  • •Evolve Cloudflare Speed Test and measurement capabilities; help make Cloudflare network signals more useful and consumable.
  • •Own operational health for the team’s systems, including observability, incident response, data quality, and long-term reliability.

  • •Experience leading and developing high-performing engineering teams, including examples of what the team shipped and how people grew.
  • •Technically credible with experienced engineers; able to review designs, understand trade-offs in distributed systems or data platforms, and recognize when deeper investigation is needed.
  • •Experience managing teams across several related technical areas while creating clarity without forcing every problem into one category.
  • •A strong focus on reliability and quality, especially when producing data used to understand the Internet.
  • •Strong product judgment and experience partnering closely with Product Management to decide what to build and what to improve.
