Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage the safe movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center to meet production and quality goals.
  • •Oversee day-to-day team activities, identify strengths and weaknesses, and drive continuous improvements.
  • •Provide coaching, development, and performance management; communicate expectations, performance measures, and goals.
  • •Review and approve mechanical and physical defects of incoming inventory; partner with the Inspection Center General Manager to repair or reject inventory based on estimated repair cost and vehicle quality.
  • •Train associates using Quality Control standards and ensure adherence to systems, policies, procedures, and performance standards to minimize re-checks, rework, and delays.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • •Demonstrated functional expertise in one or more areas of Carvana’s reconditioning process.
  • •Demonstrated understanding of Carvana’s reconditioning processes and lean principles.
  • •Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no DUIs and no more than two moving violations in the last 3 years).
  • •Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work in conditions requiring extended standing and use of safety equipment.
