Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead systems engineering development and execution of advanced semiconductor equipment platforms with electrical, mechanical, optical, algorithmic, and software subsystems.
  • •Translate market/customer requirements into system-level architectures, requirements/specifications, and performance metrics; define and maintain system architectures and interface requirements.
  • •Drive architecture trade studies, system design reviews, and create detailed system specifications for functionality, performance, reliability, serviceability, manufacturability, and safety.
  • •Lead system integration through prototype development, subsystem integration, and product qualification; identify and troubleshoot complex system-level issues across hardware, software, optics, controls, sensors, and algorithms.
  • •Develop verification/validation strategies with requirements traceability and performance testing; provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and cross-functional teams.

Salary: USD 140,000 - 192,500 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and 7-10 years of engineering experience in semiconductor equipment, photonics, electro-optical systems, advanced instrumentation, aerospace EO/IR, imaging systems, or related fields.
  • •Experience developing complex multidisciplinary systems across the product lifecycle.
  • •Proven ability to lead systems engineering development/execution for semiconductor equipment platforms with electrical, mechanical, optical, algorithmic, and software subsystems.
  • •Experience developing optical/electro-optical systems and requirements such as error budgets, alignment tolerances, calibration methodologies, and optical performance analysis.
  • •Ability to work independently with guidance only in the most complex situations and provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
