Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver client-facing cost assessments, reviews, and assurance services, presenting independent estimates, cost plans, benchmarks, and reconciliations.
  • •Lead validation and challenge of assigned contractor estimates and commercial submissions, particularly within Progressive Design-Build (PDB) and CMAR/CMGC delivery models.
  • •Support estimating uncertainty, quantitative risk assessment, and value engineering/cost optimization to enable informed decision-making and value-for-money outcomes.
  • •Provide strategic cost advice across the project lifecycle, from business case and concept design through detailed design, procurement, and delivery.
  • •Mentor and develop estimating professionals, fostering technical excellence and continuous improvement, and support business development with client engagement and proposals.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years post-graduate experience in infrastructure cost estimating, progressing to an Associate Director or similar leadership scope.
  • •10–12 years in multibillion infrastructure estimating programs, cost management, or cost assurance, including leadership of major capital projects.
  • •Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • •Demonstrated expertise across sectors such as transportation, aviation, transit, highways, utilities, or other complex infrastructure.
  • •Professional designation or membership (CIQS, RICS, AACE, or equivalent), plus proficiency in industry-standard estimating software and risk-based methodologies.
