Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct investigations into operational incidents and security matters in line with procedures, policies, and legislation.
  • •Provide expert advice and guidance to operational managers on investigation methodologies and security best practice.
  • •Gather, analyse, and assess intelligence to support informed decision-making and risk reduction.
  • •Complete security assurance and compliance activities across court custody suites and vehicle bases, ensuring contractual and regulatory requirements are met.
  • •Attend court proceedings, tribunals, workshops, and stakeholder meetings when required, representing the business and providing evidence where necessary.

Key Requirements

  • •Work towards or hold a formal investigation qualification related to investigations.
  • •Experience conducting investigations in a custodial, criminal justice, law enforcement, or similarly regulated environment.
  • •Strong understanding of investigative principles, evidence handling, and risk/threat reduction practices.
  • •Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills, able to assess complex issues and recommend actions.
  • •A full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel extensively and stay away from home when required.
