Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and adapt machine systems (hardware, system architecture, functionality) to meet performance, availability, and safety requirements.
  • •Drive concept development from ideation through requirements decomposition and specification, including trade-off studies.
  • •Design, implement, and execute verification and validation of technical solutions with traceable development loops.
  • •Collaborate in project-based work across departments in Örebro and with customers and suppliers globally; contribute to modularized solutions and process improvements.
  • •Apply MBSE practices, manage modularization, and leverage tools like Doors/Polarion to support product development and R&D leadership activities.

Key Requirements

  • •University degree in a relevant area with professional engineering experience in system engineering or similar background.
  • •Experience with requirement management tools such as DOORS or Polarion and MBSE (Model Based Systems Engineering).
  • •Hands-on experience with MATLAB and HOPSAN; solid understanding of software, control systems, and system architectures; familiarity with CAN (J1939, CAN Open).
  • •Knowledge of CAD, simulation, and other software tools; ability to bring ideas from concept to serial production.
  • •Strong communication and teamwork skills, structured and analytical approach, and English proficiency (Swedish understanding is a plus).
