Job Summary

Lead end-to-end ownership of computing infrastructure that powers advanced semiconductor inspection and manufacturing systems. Architect and engineer scalable, repeatable computing platforms, build Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks for Linux environments, and optimize performance across compute, storage, networking, security, and virtualization. Own validation and release readiness, provide Tier-4 troubleshooting and security hardening (including air-gapped environments), and maintain R&D lab environments to mirror production systems.

Key Responsibilities

•Architect and develop end-to-end computing platforms for next-generation inspection products across compute, storage, networking, security, OS, virtualization, and container technologies.
•Build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks to automate provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management of Linux-based environments.
•Optimize system performance across CPU, memory, storage, I/O, and network layers for data-intensive workloads.
•Develop validation strategies and test plans for all infrastructure layers, define release readiness criteria, and build automated verification frameworks for consistent deployments.
•Serve as Tier-4 escalation for complex troubleshooting and root-cause investigations, strengthen platform security and resiliency, and manage R&D lab environments mirroring production systems.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•6-12 years of relevant work experience with production-grade enterprise infrastructure engineering.
•Extensive Linux administration experience, including Ubuntu and RHEL, with strong knowledge of networking, filesystem architecture, performance, and security controls (SELinux, AppArmor, firewalls).
•Practical experience administering virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, and Proxmox, including virtual machine lifecycle and virtual networking.
•Hands-on experience with enterprise storage (SAN, NAS, iSCSI, NFS, RAID, distributed storage) plus storage performance tuning and capacity management.
•Experience with networking and security/firewall policies, including VLANs, trunking, link aggregation, and troubleshooting with tools like Wireshark.
