Key Responsibilities

  • •Read production schedules to determine items to move, gather, or distribute and weigh/count items to meet company standards.
  • •Visually verify loads and safely move product within the facility to ensure timely delivery.
  • •Convey materials between receiving/production and storage areas using a manual pallet jack; operate material handling equipment when applicable.
  • •Open bales/crates, remove excess cardboard and straps for proper disposal, and mark materials with identifying information.
  • •Maintain housekeeping and 5S compliance, handle recyclables, perform light maintenance, and follow safety procedures and GMP guidelines.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED is preferred (not required).
  • •1-year production experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred (not required).
  • •Follow directions and routines and work independently with appropriate judgment.
  • •Perform physically demanding work including continuous standing/walking and lifting up to 10 lbs continuously, up to 25 lbs frequently, and up to 50 lbs frequently (100 lbs with assistance).
  • •Adhere to safety procedures and GMP guidelines, including wearing required PPE.
