Key Responsibilities

  • •Work within the Security Engineering domain as part of the enterprise engineering effort to operate within a DoD air-gapped IT network to deploy new security capabilities.
  • •Create and present materials to convey concepts to a wide range of audiences.
  • •Work onsite in a closed-area environment with occasional offsite opportunities.
  • •Create, follow, and update system documentation, schematics, and operational guides/procedures.
  • •Interface with other teams to define and implement cyber risk posture, cyber risk mitigation, and information assurance across the enterprise IT service portfolio.

Key Requirements

  • •Solid background in Systems Administration using Linux and Windows desktop and server operating systems (Windows 11/Server 2022/RHEL)
  • •Broad understanding of on-prem enterprise IT systems and technologies and its impacts to ICAM, secure enterprise messaging, Enterprise Logging Ingest, Cyber Situational Awareness and protection, EDR
  • •Active DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., CISSP and/or Security+), with ability to maintain
  • •Active and transferable Top Secret US government security clearance with SCI eligibility
  • •Typically requires a STEM degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with minimum 3 years of experience
