Job Summary

Own cost management for large-scale data centre and mission-critical projects across the full lifecycle. You’ll lead cost planning and budget control, produce forecasts and monthly reporting, and support value engineering to optimize costs. The role also covers procurement and tender activities for CSA/MEP packages, contract administration (variations, claims, payment applications), and commercial risk and governance through close-out. Collaborate with PMs, consultants, contractors, and clients to support delivery decisions.

Key Responsibilities

•Prepare and manage cost estimates, project budgets, and detailed cost plans; monitor expenditure and maintain accurate forecasts.
•Provide commercial and cost advice during design development and support value engineering for cost optimization.
•Lead tendering and procurement for CSA/MEP trade packages, including pricing schedules, evaluations, and recommendations for contractor appointments.
•Manage contract administration including variations, change orders, contractor claims, progress claims, and payment applications; maintain commercial records and support final account negotiations.
•Produce monthly cost reports and cash flow forecasts, monitor variances and risks, ensure governance compliance, and deliver commercial reporting to clients and stakeholders.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Construction, Engineering, or a related discipline (Master’s degree advantageous).
•5–10 years of experience in cost management or construction-related roles (e.g., cost manager, quantity surveyor, construction manager, procurement, project management, consultancy).
•Strong knowledge of quantity surveying principles, tools, and methodologies across both pre- and post-contract functions.
•Exposure to or strong interest in data centre, mission-critical, or MEP-intensive projects.
•Native-level and business-level proficiency in English, with proficiency in CostX or equivalent cost estimation software.
