Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, administer, and maintain maintenance training plans and programs for maintenance tasks and equipment.
  • •Conduct classroom and initial training for maintenance employees and provide underground equipment training for new hires.
  • •Partner with maintenance foremen and supervisors to identify training needs and develop trainers for tasks and equipment.
  • •Develop and oversee a train-the-trainer program, review trainer effectiveness, and recommend adding or removing trainers.
  • •Prepare training schedules and materials, track training completion and retraining, audit paperwork and field practices for compliance, and update SOPs/standards/policies using the MOC process.

Key Requirements

  • •High school graduate or equivalent.
  • •5+ years of operational experience in industry, with underground mining experience preferred.
  • •Prior training experience preferred.
  • •Demonstrated safety leadership.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
