Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the key day-to-day client interface and deliver a value-added cost management service aligned to client objectives.
  • •Estimate and negotiate change orders throughout the construction lifecycle, including producing and presenting final cost plans.
  • •Review and collaborate with design services and the general contractor to develop cost estimates and reconcile changes to ensure data accuracy.
  • •Manage cost checks, valuations, post-contract cost variances, cost impacts/contingency management, and commitment tracking logs.
  • •Produce monthly cost reports, support funding data presentations and VE sessions, and negotiate final accounts; mentor and coach talent.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field.
  • •Minimum 5–7 years of relevant cost management experience in the construction industry.
  • •RICS accreditation or working towards it is preferred.
  • •Experience leading cost management on medium to large construction projects of medium to high complexity.
  • •Good knowledge of construction industry topics such as procurement routes, value management, and value engineering; excellent communication skills.
