Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial close activities including journals, accruals, prepayments, allocations, cut-off, reconciliations and close exception resolution.
  • •Maintain general-ledger integrity across chart of accounts, accounting calendars, close checklists and supporting documentation across corporate and management-company entities.
  • •Prepare and consolidate accurate financial statements, trial balances and management reporting packages in line with IFRS and approved group policies.
  • •Analyze balance-sheet and P&L movements, explain material variances, and escalate unusual, unsupported or control-sensitive items to Finance leadership.
  • •Design and improve accounting controls (journals, reconciliations, master data, close, reporting, access, segregation of duties, and record retention) and coordinate with external advisers where needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 10 years of progressive accounting and financial-reporting experience, including at least five years in a supervisory or management role.
  • •Deep knowledge of IFRS, financial statements, general ledger, consolidation, intercompany accounting, internal controls, statutory reporting and audit readiness.
  • •Experience leading demanding close cycles and delivering accurate reporting to tight deadlines.
  • •Ability to manage complex and non-routine technical accounting matters and document recognition, measurement, presentation and disclosure.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a related professional qualification or CPA.
