Support the implementation and oversight of the Operational Risk Management Framework within the Risk Management Department. Key Responsibilities

•Support and enhance the Operational Risk Management Framework, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, Group standards, and industry best practice.
•Provide independent second-line oversight and challenge of risk assessments, control environments, issue remediation plans, and risk acceptances.
•Review and challenge operational risk events, incidents, and scenario analyses, ensuring robust root cause identification, remediation, and lessons learned.
•Monitor and assess operational risk indicators, risk appetite metrics, and emerging risk trends to support risk reporting and governance.
•Prepare high-quality reporting and analysis for senior management, risk committees, and regulatory processes, including ICAAP and other prudential requirements.

Key Requirements

•Proven experience in Operational Risk, Non-Financial Risk, Internal Controls, Audit, Risk Management, or a related function in regulated financial services.
•Strong understanding of Operational Risk frameworks, including RCSA, operational risk events, issue management, KRIs, risk appetite, scenario analysis, and governance reporting.
•Practical knowledge of corporate and/or investment banking products, processes, and control environments for effective second-line challenge and oversight.
•Ability to analyze risks and control weaknesses, identify emerging risk themes, and provide evidence-based recommendations.
•Degree-level education or equivalent experience; relevant professional qualifications in Risk, Audit, Banking, or related disciplines are advantageous. Fluent English required.
