Key Responsibilities

  • •Run client engagements end to end, including planning, executing, directing, and completing tax projects while managing to budget.
  • •Supervise, train, and mentor senior associates, associates, and interns; assess performance and serve in an in-charge role as needed.
  • •Identify and capitalize on opportunities to sell services to existing and potential clients.
  • •Review tax returns prepared by staff and recommend improvements for accuracy and tax savings opportunities.
  • •Conduct primary review of ASC 740 income tax provision engagements; research and consult on tax matters and respond to IRS/state inquiries.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • •Minimum four to seven years of progressive tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience.
  • •CPA or JD/active law license required.
  • •Experience in public accounting is preferred.
  • •Strong corporate income tax and ASC 740 Accounting for Income Taxes experience, including knowledge of US GAAP and corporate income tax laws and regulations.
