Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as a certified trainer responsible for multiple levels of training, including client-specific, industry update, and general coding training.
  • •Create training content and track coding changes and updates.
  • •Adapt to new specialty learnings as required and train resources accordingly.
  • •Coordinate with supervisors and the Training Manager to deliver training and evaluate training needs.
  • •Perform audits of charts processed by new hires, new specialty work, and regular audits as required.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 7–8 years of experience in the medical coding field, with 3–4 years of relevant work experience.
  • •Experience training ICD and CPT and awareness of the latest updates.
  • •Preferred specialty knowledge in EM Multispecialty and Surgery.
  • •Must be CPC certified.
  • •Proficient in English; knowledge of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint is required.
