Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive product from press, stack, and place on pallets; pull product through bundling machines and palletize finished work.
  • •Set up, troubleshoot, and maintain the Hugo Beck bundling system, including webbing, knife roll alignment, bundle tightening/loosening, and roll alignment basics.
  • •Print pallet labels using Pecas and use job bag/set-up sheet information to ensure correct loading and accurate, error-free jobs.
  • •Assist operators when the press is down; perform downtime tasks such as webbing, blowing out the Hugo Beck, cleaning the press area, and filling solvent and varnish systems.
  • •Perform make-ready tasks including purging stacks/tables, assisting impression roller/stacker changes, managing doctor blades (set-up, disposal, and cleaning), and supporting rollstand and gluer tasks when applicable.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience, with 1-3 years of related production experience or training.
  • •Very good mechanical and physical ability to operate and handle production equipment safely.
  • •Lift truck operators must have and maintain safety training for company equipment operation.
  • •Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks including standing, stooping, reaching, climbing, kneeling, and crouching.
  • •Ability to rotate shifts and be available to work more than 8 hours per day and/or 40 hours per week when needed.
