Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead designer responsibilities within a multidisciplinary team on data centre and infrastructure projects.
  • •Coordinate design across architectural and engineering teams, delivering integrated outputs and ensuring internal governance throughout bids and delivery.
  • •Review, approve, and interpret design and documentation (including vendor/subcontractor/3rd-party materials) and ensure compliance with relevant codes, permits, and standards.
  • •Oversee design packages of moderate to high complexity, manage delivery timelines/programmes with immovable deadlines, and maintain expected technical excellence quality.
  • •Provide line management/mentoring to less experienced team members and support bid activity, fee proposals, and resource forecasting as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Fully qualified architect with ARB registration (or equivalent European/International qualification).
  • •Proven experience on large multi-disciplinary design projects, preferably in infrastructure and data-centre work.
  • •Ability to produce and coordinate design information through all RIBA Stages and ensure accuracy, compliance, and quality delivery.
  • •Strong technical design content with a CSA (Construction Services/coordination) bias, plus design management, digital technologies, and design workflow experience.
  • •IT-literate with CAD software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams) and a demonstrated record of professional development and learning.
