Key Responsibilities

  • •Install and qualify manufacturing equipment as directed.
  • •Troubleshoot day-to-day manufacturing process and equipment issues; perform timely maintenance and repairs.
  • •Identify and implement improvements that support throughput, yield, and product performance goals.
  • •Execute planned process experiments, collect/analyze data, and respond to process control alarms to bring processes back into control.
  • •Provide training to production associates and update internal documentation including drawings, SOPs, and process specifications.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • •Meet one qualification path: Associates degree in a technical discipline; or 2+ years machine/mechanic experience; or 1 year First Solar technical experience; or 6 months Associate EMT experience with EMT proficiency rating of 5+.
  • •Verifiable electrical/electronic and mechanical knowledge.
  • •Verifiable hands-on troubleshooting/repair skills for equipment and manufacturing-line process issues.
  • •Safety-first mindset and ability to communicate effectively in written and oral formats.
