Job Summary

Independently deliver end-to-end geotechnical engineering work for infrastructure and building projects, including investigations, analysis, calculations, reports, and drawings. Lead project teams when needed and supervise junior engineers. Design shallow and deep foundations, retaining walls, slope stabilization, liquefaction and ground improvement, with strong expertise in soft soils and port, maritime, road, and rail projects. Support digital engineering tool adoption and perform verification, validation, and peer review.

Key Responsibilities

•Independently undertake investigations, analysis, and consulting services to deliver designs, calculations, reports, and drawings to a high standard.
•Lead project teams where necessary and supervise junior team members; coach, mentor, and provide technical guidance across teams.
•Carry out complex geotechnical engineering designs for dredging and reclamation for Ports, Maritime, Road, and Rail projects.
•Produce and review designs, calculations, and contract documentation, including foundation design, retaining wall analysis, slope stability, liquefaction analysis, and ground improvement.
•Develop and promote digital engineering tools, processes, and workflows; perform verification, validation, and peer review as necessary.

Key Requirements

•Post graduate degree in Geotechnical Engineering or Rock Mechanics; PhDs are welcome.
•8–10 years of professional experience post qualification.
•Expertise in GeoStudio suite, RocScience suite, SLIDE, Wallap, L Pile, Geo5, Plaxis, and Cliq.
•Proficiency with MA Office suites including Power BI; understanding statistical analysis preferred.
•Membership of professional organisations and chartered status preferred.
