Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with interns and mentors to develop social media concepts grounded in audience needs, business goals, cultural moments, and platform opportunities.
  • •Participate in brainstorming, creative reviews, and content planning discussions by presenting concepts, explaining recommendations, and giving constructive feedback.
  • •Create, edit, optimize, and adapt content for various social platforms and formats, including original photo or video content when opportunities arise.
  • •Develop localized social content guidance for a partner university, incorporating campus culture, student needs, and relevant moments, then present recommendations to the brand team and stakeholders.
  • •Support content planning, workflow management, project execution, and performance analysis to improve future social media content.

Key Requirements

  • •Be a rising college junior enrolled during Summer 2027 at a Huntington partner school: University of Michigan, University of Minnesota, West Virginia University, University of Texas, The Ohio State University, University of Mississippi, University of Alabama, or Mississippi State University.
  • •Pursue a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media, Advertising, Public Relations, Film, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • •Strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly present ideas.
  • •Enthusiasm for social media and understanding its value, influence, challenges, and responsibility as a public-facing channel.
  • •Strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while working independently remotely.
