Key Responsibilities

  • •Own Android architecture decisions and lead scalable, modular application design for maintainability, performance, and developer experience.
  • •Ship and maintain native Android applications in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose used by players and developers.
  • •Implement robust testing, configure Gradle build performance, and establish coding standards and best practices across the mobile team.
  • •Drive Android release ownership (signing, App Bundles, Play Console tracks, staged rollouts, pre-launch reports) and triage crashes/ANRs.
  • •Integrate payments, virtual currency, and mini-apps; collaborate with backend, QA, product, and design teams to keep shared contracts coherent across platforms while using AI agents to accelerate delivery.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of professional Android development experience with deep, hands-on Kotlin expertise.
  • •Proven track record shipping commercial Android apps currently live on Google Play.
  • •Strong command of modern Android frameworks and idioms: Jetpack Compose, Coroutines and Flow, Lifecycle, Room, WorkManager, and Navigation.
  • •Experience with Android architecture patterns (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture), dependency injection, and state management.
  • •Daily use of AI coding agents/tools (e.g., Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor) to scope work, review AI-generated code, and improve velocity.
