Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, build, and maintain internal security tooling used across engineering.
  • •Develop automation for application security, secrets management, identity management, secure software delivery workflows, vulnerability detection, remediation automation, and security telemetry.
  • •Write secure, production-quality code across backend services, APIs, and cloud-native systems.
  • •Build security services and APIs for authentication, authorization, secrets management, access governance, and support OAuth/OIDC, token lifecycle, RBAC, service authentication, and secure session handling.
  • •Build and automate cloud and infrastructure security controls across AWS, GCP, and Kubernetes, including observability for security events and incident response support when required.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 159,100 - 198,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on security, platform engineering, or infrastructure security.
  • •Experience building internal engineering or security tooling in cloud-native production environments.
  • •Hands-on backend engineering experience building APIs, services, and automation systems.
  • •Experience implementing secure authentication and authorization in production applications.
  • •Experience working with Kubernetes and distributed systems in production environments.
