Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the technical strategy, architecture, and roadmap for the Field Verification platform end to end, and set direction for the domain.
  • •Move the platform from keep-the-lights-on operation to deliberate, prioritized development.
  • •Lead and grow the existing cross-functional team, building the organization as scope expands.
  • •Build operational efficiency for field officers, including trip and route optimization, task allocation, and capacity management.
  • •Own the platform’s client-facing surface (APIs, webhooks, and back office) and deliver a native mobile experience, ensuring compliance-ready verification data.
  • •Define architecture standards, engineering processes, and quality metrics, and hire and develop engineers and Engineering Managers.
  • •Partner closely with Product and dependent business units (onboarding, loans, compliance, fraud) and prepare the platform for multi-country expansion.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of overall software engineering experience with substantial hands-on production engineering and strong backend depth.
  • •At least 5 years of engineering leadership experience, including managing Engineering Managers.
  • •Credibility across backend, web, and mobile, since the platform spans multiple engineering layers.
  • •Experience translating operational requirements into engineering solutions while collaborating with product and business stakeholders.
  • •Strong plus: experience with location/geospatial data (including map integrations), route/trip or delivery optimization, and building compliance-ready systems for identity/KYC/verification.
