Job Summary

Design and develop electrical hardware and test equipment for Raytheon’s Test Solutions Center, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support weapon system product development. Create electrical designs, interconnects, schematics, and test interfaces; troubleshoot hardware; drive hardware requirements; and contribute to production-readiness in an on-site Tucson, AZ factory environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Prioritize and handle several engineering tasks concurrently
•Develop both engineering and production test systems, test interface adapters, cabling, technical drawing creation, schematic creation, circuit design and analysis
•Troubleshoot of hardware and test equipment instrumentation in Factory Test Platform solutions
•Interact and engage with Engineering, Operations PTEs, and program personnel to support factory readiness and robustness
•Support the development and derivation of requirements for hardware and electrical products

Key Requirements

•Experience with electrical engineering design to include troubleshooting, analysis, and test
•Experience using schematic capture tools and interpreting schematics
•The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
•Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics(STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience
•Experience with commonly used electrical engineering design and analysis tools including but not limited to: Altium, DX Designer, Mentor Capital, Creo Schematic
