Job Summary

Lead process controls and automation across multiple manufacturing sites, driving continuous improvement in efficiency, reliability, and outputs. Design, implement, integrate, and support automation and process control systems including PLCs, DCS, HMI, and SCADA. Partner cross-functionally on process control models and capital projects, maintain process documentation, and interface with equipment suppliers. Manage and develop the PC&A team while supporting operational and business goals.

Key Responsibilities

•Analyze and troubleshoot challenges and recommend continuous improvement strategies and solutions.
•Apply advanced engineering and process control strategies to improve operating efficiency of new and existing automation systems.
•Partner with cross-functional teams to implement process control models, strategies, and methods to ensure reliability and efficiencies.
•Provide technical expertise for capital projects, process evaluation, and project modifications.
•Assure process documentation is regularly developed and maintained, while interfacing with equipment suppliers and appraising/developing subordinate engineers.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with exposure to automation, programming, and control systems theory.
•8 years of electrical process controls, automation, or electrical controls and instrumentation experience in a manufacturing environment.
•Strong technical leadership and ability to lead and develop the process controls & automation team.
•Ability to quickly learn complex manufacturing operations and identify opportunities for efficiency and reliability improvements.
•Experience designing, implementing, integrating, and supporting automation and process control systems (e.g., PLCs/DCS/HMI/SCADA).
