Key Responsibilities

  • •Gain knowledge of general agronomy skills including scouting, crop protection products, crop nutrient products, seed, and custom application and mixing procedures.
  • •Perform all agronomy/seed operations.
  • •Monitor and maintain quality of inventory and keep records.
  • •Regulate and perform periodic housekeeping processes.
  • •Assist with repairs and preventative maintenance for agronomy equipment (e.g., legs, conveyors, towers, vehicles, sprayers, floaters, trucks) and provide customer service as needed.

  • •Currently enrolled in an Ag Business, Crop Science, or other Agriculture related degree program.
  • •Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
  • •Ability to perform agronomy/seed operations and support inventory quality monitoring.
  • •Assist with repairs and preventative maintenance for agronomy equipment.
  • •Work in and maintain compliance with state, local, and CHS Environmental and Safety policy.
