Data Engineering Consultant responsible for conceiving and implementing Data Platform architectures (Azure and On-Premise), collaborating with clients remotely or onsite across all project phases, and contributing to projects with DevOps, SQL, Python, and related data technologies within Avanade’s Microsoft-focused practice.

Key Responsibilities

•Conceive and implement Data-Platform architectures in Azure and On-Premise, and support data integration initiatives.
•Collaborate with clients and the internal team; engage in remote or onsite work through all project phases from requirements to documentation.
•Work on projects leveraging DevOps, SQL, Python, and additional data technologies.
•Actively participate in the community by sharing project experiences and knowledge with colleagues.
•Contribute to data & AI initiatives within the Microsoft-focused Avanade ecosystem.

Key Requirements

•Experience as a Data Engineer in Automotive, Life Science, Finance or Manufacturing industries.
•Understanding of business processes and complex IT solutions, preferably in a Microsoft technology environment.
•Strong knowledge and experience in Requirements Engineering.
•Familiarity with Azure platform and services such as Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, SQL, Databricks, and IoT Hub.
•Fluent in German and English; strong presentation skills and professional/self-assured demeanor.
