Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare formulations and support dispersion formulation, ink development, material characterization, and scale-up activities.
  • •Operate laboratory equipment, troubleshoot issues, conduct experiments, and collect and document data.
  • •Maintain a safe and efficient laboratory environment while following lab procedures and chemical nomenclature.
  • •Support new product development, technology evaluations, process improvement initiatives, and manufacturing readiness from lab to pilot scale.
  • •Perform analytical testing (simple and routine; some non-routine practices like filtration) and set up experiments following clear directions.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma/GED or higher-secondary education in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, or a related technical discipline.
  • •Typically 1–2+ years of laboratory, formulation, manufacturing, or product development experience in chemical/materials/coatings/inks/plastics/specialty chemicals (fresh graduates with strong lab experience may be considered).
  • •Working knowledge of routine chemical formulation procedures and simple analytical testing (e.g., pH, conductivity, viscosity).
  • •Basic knowledge of more complex analytical instrumentation (e.g., particle size, particle counts).
  • •Ability to perform chemical formulations, use a lab notebook properly, follow non-routine work instructions, and handle workload under schedule pressures.
