Key Responsibilities

  • •Advise the client on cost management strategies, manage bid processes, and chair bid interviews while making bid recommendations.
  • •Develop and present project estimates, review junior team estimations, and provide value engineering recommendations and risk assessments.
  • •Establish and manage cost reporting, forecasts, commercial risk register updates, and periodic meetings with the project team and vendors.
  • •Manage cost control by reviewing payment applications and change order requests, recommending contractor entitlements, and supporting dispute prevention and resolution.
  • •Oversee invoicing and final accounting, including post-contract audits, account closeouts, and post-contract lesson-learned and handover procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a field related to construction.
  • •Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in a cost management role in the construction industry.
  • •RICS accredited or working towards it is valuable.
  • •Experience supporting cost management on medium or large-sized construction projects.
  • •Strong communication skills.
