Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete production activities in the press room, including operating automatic presses, cranes, lift trucks, and auxiliary equipment.
  • •Operate and adjust feeding and handling equipment and perform changeovers by setting blanking, progressive, and transfer dies.
  • •Visually inspect in-process and finished parts and use tools/fixtures to check parts.
  • •Ensure safe operation of presses and similar equipment; follow safety policies and maintain a clean, organized, safe work environment.
  • •Follow ISO standards and procedures to meet quality standards; perform material handling and assigned departmental tasks; recognize concerns and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
